As the Senior Procurement specialist, your role is to deliver best total cost and terms for the wider Ingham’s business through being the commercial custodian, seeking innovation whilst managing supplier performance and delivery.

**Other responsibilities** will include but not limited to;**
- Lead major supplier negotiations.
- Ensuring major spend completed through a contestable process aligned to policy
- Regularly review spend trends, budgets, business & stakeholder strategies, current practices and in consultation with stakeholders identify appropriate opportunities.
- Develop and implement category strategies in conjunction with stakeholders
- Relevant and equitable agreements/contracts are developed, negotiated and managed for all major spend
- Annual cost savings plans are met.
- Develop programs with suppliers for continuous improvement for cost out or cost engineering

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Business or related field would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar industry in procurement/purchasing/supplier facing role
- Strong understanding of supply chain and tactical procurement processes
- Strong computer skills - experience with industry account package BPICs, Maximo or SAP would be an advantage
- Ability to communicate well and establish strong working relationships
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus and results orientation
