**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker at Te Whetu Tawera (TWT) the 58-bed acute inpatient mental health unit at Auckland City Hospital. We are located next to the beautiful Auckland City Domain, close to the scenic harbour and the City Centre, with access to public transport including bus and trains.
We have worked hard to build a great culture in our team. This is a multi-disciplinary team, it’s fast paced and can be stressful, but with great variation and not a lot of downtime, the days are rewarding and full. There is a full month orientation to start, and ongoing weekly supervision.
If you would like a role in a challenging and supportive working environment, then this is the role for you. Flexibility, skilled communication and a thorough knowledge of community resources are key and desired. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding of contemporary recovery centred service delivery as well.
