**The Company**:
Our client is a major player in the international infant formula and dairy nutrition market. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant based south of Auckland is RMP certified, meeting local and international food safety compliance standards, and is manufacturing for these markets.

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Plant QA Lead, the Plant QA Officer will support the day-to-day management of the company’s quality systems and investigate non-conformances to comply to associated industry regulations. Your overall scope of responsibilities will also include interacting with the production team, ensuring compliance with RMP, HACCP, OMAR requirements, and assisting with internal audits.

You will be organised, have a good attitude, with great communication skills in order to liaise with the quality and other departments. You’ll come with experience in or exposure to the food or dairy industry, a keen eye for detail, and have good organisational and computer skills.

In addition, applicants should have most of the following attributes, qualifications and experience:

- Tertiary qualification with a major in chemistry, microbiology or food science/technology preferred.
- 2 years Manufacturing or Quality Team experience.
- Experience in food, dairy, beverages, nutraceutical, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Experience with or exposure to Quality Systems including HACCP.
- Highly effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Sound computer skills.
- Appreciation of timelines and how to meet your targets.
- Must be available for 4 days on, 4 days off, 6am to 6pm shift pattern.
- Must currently have the right to work in NZ.
