Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your local community? Do you have strong leadership skills and with proven experience in the Civil Construction industry? We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Supervisor to support the Tararua Alliance in planning for and delivering its Capital Works programme, including Cyclone Gabrielle recovery works.

**Your day-to-day will include the following**:

- Provide onsite supervision of field-staff and sub-contractors for various projects (including Route 52 Upgrade and Cyclone Gabrielle repairs)
- Working with a team to provide practical civil construction solutions appropriate for the Tararua District.
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and all targets (productivity, quality and safety) are met.
- Assist with project documentation including contracts, subcontractor, supplier agreements, and claims.
- Programme monitoring and forecasting.
- Resource co-ordination to allow for the effective delivery of the project works.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
- Supervision experience in the contracting industry
- Experience in Civil Construction
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge
- Ability to influence with demonstrated leadership behaviours that empower others
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive projects and complete within specified time frames
- Good computer literacy
- Full Class 1 drivers licence minimum
