**Who are we looking for?**

We're looking for up to **three Electrical Engineers **to join our **Power & Future Energy team **, located in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington or Hastings. With our Power & Future Energy offering growing across New Zealand, you’ll have the opportunity to support local, Australian and Pacific projects, working with our team across the Asia-Pacific and global regions.
- enhancement and remodelling
- detailed design of instrumentation, controls and automation including industrial networks and SCADA/HMI.

- If you’re from a HV background, you will be conversant with generation, transmission and distribution, and have demonstrated experience in primary and secondary design for substations, and private HV networks.
- It would be beneficial if you have experience with:

- A range of industry software, such as, PowerFactory, SKM PTW ETAP, Powercad, Safegrid or CDEGS, Revit, Autocad or Acad 3D, Cywire, Python
- HAZNO 60079
- Participation in, or running a CHAZOP process
- Safety in Design
- Hazardous area design techniques

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Upgrading water, wastewater and stormwater assets for Councils
- New and upgraded industrial plant
- Renewable energy, such as solar, wind, hydro, pumped hydro, geothermal
- HV and MV power transmission and distribution
- Electrical equipment solution/specifications including technical assessment
- Preparation of electrical engineering drawings, calculations and reports
- Concept and detailed design of electrical systems within multidisciplinary projects
- Substation design
- Microgrid design
- BESS
- Future and transitional / alternative fuels
- CCUS and MCUS
- Oil & gas, power and industrial decommissioning and repurposing

**What you will bring to the team**:

- A collaborative and solutions-driven personality.
- A tertiary qualification from a recognised university in Engineering, demonstrating a major in Electrical Engineering, coupled with 2+ years’ experience, ideally with design, construction, commissioning of electrical and control systems.
- Experience in renewable energy and fuels is beneficial, with experience in underground and transmission and distribution, rail electrification or earthing being advantageous.
- Proactive in undertaking assigned tasks and skilled in the preparation of specifications and reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and engage with key internal and external stakeholders.
