**The role**
Your role will see you forming part of a highly regarded team of Electrical Engineers and Technical Specialists. The project portfolio includes interesting and challenging work and the team have a history of working on a wide variety of local landmark projects across Canterbury and the wider regions. This opportunity will allow you to further develop your expertise, working broadly across the full project life cycle. Your work could include a focus on the electrical ancillary services aspect of electrical building services so an interest and/or experience in this area would be highly advantageous. You will be working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and clients, working with great autonomy but with the tools and support you require to be successful.

**About you**
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with an interest in continuing to develop your expertise across the full electrical project lifecycle associated with the building services sector. You will have the confidence to work with a good degree of autonomy within a multi-disciplinary consulting environment.

You will require
- Hold a tertiary level qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience
- Be experienced working with a range of clients, multi-disciplined engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Ideally have experience and/or a strong interest in building ancillary services.
- Sound knowledge of relevant New Zealand codes and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to details
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a broad range of team members and clients
