**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
We are seeking a registered health professional or experienced smoking cessation practitioner who has a passion for health promotion and improving health outcomes for Tāngata Whaiora/consumers with mental health and addiction issues. This exciting new role will be responsible for providing planning, implementation support and advice to enbed a strong Smokefree focus in specialist mental health and addiction services (MHAS). The role will primarily focus on supporting whai ora in the inpatient unit but will broaden its focus to include community services in the future.
This is a new role that provides an opportunity to design what this service looks like in partnership with ward based clinicians, consumer advisors and whai ora. You will be part of a supportive team that are committed to supporting continuous learning in an environment that encourages creative thinking.

- Are you a registered health professional or experienced smokefree practitioner who has the vision and creativity to develop a new smokefree services within our specialist mental health and addiction service? Do you have experience of working with tangata whaiora with significant life challenges and able to encourage and support them to meet their wellbeing goals? Do you enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have a talent for training and coaching others? If so, we would love to hear from you_
