**Experience in the concrete industry preferred, but not required, as full on-job training will be provided.**

What we need from you:

Your role will include:

- Answer and address all telephone orders for Ready-mix concrete providing a polite, professional, and welcoming service.
- Accurate entry of all orders into the computer order system - following all procedures.
- Co-ordinating efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete, liaising with customers and Allied Concrete colleagues i.e. Drivers, yard staff and Sales team.
- Have strong relationship-building skills with customers and have a hands-on, can-do approach.
- Assist operations team in planning and scheduling routine maintenance on both plant and fleet to ensure sufficient capacity is maintained to meet market demand.
- Target on time delivery and optimise delivery performance to satisfy the expectations of our loyal customer base.
- Provide all relevant information regarding deliveries to driving staff to ensure they are focused on providing efficient delivery of product, using the most direct routes to site.
- Capture and utilise data from the dispatch operation to track and report on operational performance and work forecasting, in conjunction with the Dispatch Manager.
