- Nine Main operating theatres, + Two Day Surgery theatres + One C-section theatre.
- Our theatres provide tertiary level elective and acute surgery
- Specialties that include cardio-thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, vascular, liver resections, general surgical upper and lower GI, urology and orthopaedic both elective and acutes.
- Well integrated and collaborative team that work well across the spectrum of care offered.
- Support new and existing staff within the MOT with the provision of education, training and resources that ensure practice is current, evidence based and fit for purpose
- Collaborate alongside nurses, medical colleagues as well as other educators within the wider PDU team to provide practice and professional development opportunities that enhance service delivery, quality and safety alongside improved patient outcomes.
