**Job Title**: Chef Assistant

**Location**: Wellington.

**Employment Type**: Full-time

**Days required**: Wednesday to Saturday on shift.

**Hours per week**: 40 hours to 50 hours a week.

**Number of Vacancies**: 3 positions

**Payment**:$28.18- $29.66 per hour

**Key tasks & responsibilities**:

- Washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving.
- Cutting and grinding meat, poultry and seafood in preparation for cooking.
- Weighing and measuring ingredients and refilling the sauces and seasonings in advance.
- Cleaning the pans and pots and general utensils like plates and bowls used in the kitchen and restaurant.
- Daily Kitchen Cleaning and ensuring food and hygiene standards according to Food Control Plan.
- Monitor the stocks and give feedback.
- Packing food and beverage trays for serving.

**To be right for this role and our organization, you need**:

- No prior experience or qualification are required, but it would be an advantage if you have experience in this industry.
- On-the-job training will be provided if you are the right one.
- Adaptable to change and able to multitask.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Be reliable and responsible.
- Good time management.
