Recognisable and well established, our client is a well-known operation with corporate offices based in Christchurch. Working closely with the finance team and liaising across the business this is a role with opportunities to really make your mark.

This newly created Payroll position will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation and processing of several payrolls, utilising the IMS Payroll system.

**Reporting to the Financial Controller key responsibilities will include**:

- End to end payroll processing
- Updating employment contracts and ensuring pay information is correct
- Ensuring accuracy of timesheets and running efficient systems
- Handling payroll queries and follow up
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports
- General administrative & accounts duties to support the Financial Controller as required
- A minimum of 3-4 years payroll experience
- Previous experience using IMS Payroll preferred
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and statutory obligations
- Effective time management skills
- A strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A strong understanding of accounting principles
