MidCentral actively seeks Māori into our workforce to reflect the community we serve.

This is an exciting new opportunity for someone to join the MidCentral National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP) team. The MidCentral NBSP is one of the providers for the Ministry of Health's national programme. This screening programme is for eligible people aged 60 to 74 with no bowel symptoms. The MidCentral NBSP covers the MidCentral region of Palmerston North, Manawatū, Tararua, Horowhenua and Ōtaki.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who will administer the operational functions of the local programme, as well as coordinating our Outreach Programme, and supporting people in the community to access Bowel Screening.

To be successful you will need to have:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in working with data and generation of reports
- Excellent word processing skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft software including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and Teams
- Ability to organise meetings including virtual meetings, formulate agenda and take minutes
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent team member and a passion for working with community
- Maturity and ability to cope in a busy and demanding environment
- Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to changes.

Hours of work will be 40 hours, Monday to Friday. One year; short term contract.
