Based in a region known for its sunny weather, this newly created Horticulture Coordinator role supports our customers in the Apple, Kiwifruit, Cherry and Summerfruit segments in the South Island. This is a fast-paced environment and requires someone who is customer focused and can juggle multiple demands all at once, while focusing on the end goal. It goes without saying that you will have a great attitude and know how to make things happen.

The role is responsible for:

- Providing customer support and providing solutions to address stock issues to the Apple, Kiwifruit, Cherry and Summerfruit customers
- Supporting and coordinating with customers daily regarding forecast requirements, in season, daily requirements and changes to demand
- Convert seasonal forecasts into stock build and work with Supply Chain to implement
- Ensure that customer demand is understood, and product is delivered in a timely fashion
- Meet or exceed established goals relative to on-time delivery
- Manage stock levels of FIG product vs forecast demand in conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager
- Identify potential ‘stock out’ and find solutions in conjunction with the Account Manager
- Delivery of key process improvement initiatives
- Keep stock control systems up to date and plan future capacity requirements based on market forecasts/demand
- Supporting the Account Manager & Regional Manager for forecasting purposes and supply concerns
- Liaising and coordinating with internal departments: account management, customer service, logistics and the warehouse
- Managing daily packhouse changes in season
- Other financial reporting and administrative duties

The attributes and skills we seek:

- Strong customer service and administration experience 3 years+ ideal.
- Strong focus on meeting customer supply requirements
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment, Packaging, Manufacturing or similar industry preferred.
- Exceptional time management with the ability to manage multiple demands
- Experience in managing stock levels
- Analytical with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
