Hairdresser/beautician

Job title: Hairdresser/Beautician Location: Auckland, Hourly rate: $25 to $34 per hour, depending on experience Employment type: Full-time, part-time, Hours per week: At least 30 hours per week

We are currently seeking 3 hairdressers/beautician to join Ivana Hair and Beauty Salon Limited, who will be responsible for the following duties:
- Consulting with customers to understand their hair type, desired style, and specific requests or concerns- Providing advice on hair care, hairstyles, beauty products and other cosmetic supplies- Cutting and shaping hair according to the customer’s preferences, using different cutting techniques and tools, such as scissors, clippers and razors- Colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions- Shampooing and conditioning customers’ hair, ensuring proper cleanliness and scalp health- Have knowledge of various hair care products, including shampoos, conditioners, styling gels, serums, and hair masks- Recommending suitable hair products and cosmetic supplies as well as educating customers on proper routines- Performing chemical treatments like keratin treatments or chemical straightening, following safety protocols- Providing face, neck and scalp massages- Ensuring cleanliness and maintain a hygienic environment in the salon- Providing excellent customer service

**Requirements**:
- Relevant qualification is advantageous but not a must- At least 3 years of hairdresser/salon experience- Ability to prioritise tasks under pressure- Ability to work independently and efficiently
