**General Summary**:
You’ll be comfortable meeting high profile guests and guiding them through the makeup and studio process before they go on air. As well as that you’ll be a social media superstar who can plan and produce content that’ll drive AM’s audience engagement. After 9 you’ll be assisting with show production tasks including setting up interviews and features for the next day. Report to Lineup Producer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the Instagram and Facebook accounts while the show is on air, but off air as required.
- Greet guests in reception, manage their movements within the building.
- Before the show help with production of interview notes and research.
- Health & Safety liaison/instruction for guests and risk management while on site.
- Provide coffee and refreshments as required for control room staff, hosts and guests.
- Act as a runner between the control room, newsroom and studio (notes, feedback, news releases, etc.).
- Provide other support to the control room staff.
- After show completion, carry out show production and other duties as required by the team. i.e. social media support, daily promo, booking guests, cutting b-roll, writing research notes.
- Uphold the company values and expected behaviours in all undertakings related to your employment.

- Carry out your work safely and without endangering or causing harm to yourself, fellow staff members, contractors, customers, visitors, or the general public.
- The Company may, after fair and reasonable consultation, change your duties, from time to time, for commercial reasons but not so as to substantially change the nature of the position.

**Qualities Required**:

- Journalism or Broadcasting degree, or significant progress towards completion.
- Newsroom and live studio experience.
- Customer or public facing experience.
- Good technical understanding and energy to advance their own skillset.
- Good understanding of the requirements of the Broadcasting Act and laws relating to libel, defamation and invasion of privacy.
- Familiar with One Drive suite.
- A warm approach to guests and willingness to make them comfortable.
- Strong research skills including using digital and social media platforms.
- Good writing ability, the ability to prioritize workload through time management.
- Excellent communication skills with team members and guests.
- Basic editing skills an advantage.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and hours if required.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
