**About the role**:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our team based in
**Auckland East. **This is a hybrid Broker Support / Broker Commercial SME role. You will be supporting two Brokers, as well as service a current book of about 120 clients. You will have exceptional attention to detail and communication skills to provide both administrative support and general insurance assistance regarding account, cover and policy queries to clients. Previous insurance experience would be beneficial, however, is not a requirement as full training will be provided.

This role will provide great opportunities to learn from a team of experienced brokers and is a great stepping stone into an insurance career.

**Responsibilities**:

- Resolve client queries (account queries, cover queries, policy amendments)
- Set up new policies, arrange finance agreements and collecting premiums
- Assist the Broker with administration to ensure client requirements are met and policies are renewed on time
- Process alterations, endorsements and set up new policies and finance agreements
- Provide support to the client when the Broker is unavailable
- Prepare and dispatch renewal letters (including declarations, rating charts/underwriter placing’s) after consultation with the Broker
- Assist the Broker with the collection of premiums within the required timeframe
- Prepare underwriter submissions and client reports for new business

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in the insurance industry or a customer service role
- The ability to build and maintain enduring relationships with clients and team members
- Highly organised and efficient with a strong attention to detail
- Pro-active and solution orientated with a focus on delivering results
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Competent/advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Desirable - A certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5).
