**The Opportunity**

As the Nurse Practitioner you will join Te Uru Rauhī during an exciting time of change for our Mental Health and Addiction service. Mental Health and Addictions Services are moving towards a wellness and recovery-focused approach that encourages interconnectedness socially, spiritually, physically, and environmentally and encompasses the aspirations to achieve ‘WAIORA’ flourishing individuals, whānau, and communities. Te Mātāpuna o Te Ora, the source of wellbeing, is our shared vision of improving health outcomes and achieving wellbeing for people experiencing mental health and addiction issues across their lifespan.- highly developed patient assessment skills- proven leadership skills- proven abilities in influencing and relationship building in a way that encourages strength, diversity, and kotahitanga (unity) within the team- commitment to the bicultural practice framework- quality improvement experience- excellent communication skills across a variety of mediums- or be working towards an Expert Level PDRP- undertaken the necessary Nurse Practitioner qualifications or be prepared to undertake the Nurse Practitioner Training Programme commencing in 2024.
