- With one of our amazing payroll team going part time and the other on parental leave (12 months from March 2025), we have an opportunity for two Payroll Advisors to join our busy People & Culture team at Transdev Wellington.** **We envisage one full time and one part time role but are open to balancing hours across both roles.

- In Australasia we operate in an increasingly complex and competitive environment with changing demographics, increased city populations, and changing needs from public transportation providers.
- We operate **_Wellington's_** passenger rail services on behalf of Metlink for our client Greater Wellington Regional Council.

**What the role involves**:

- We are on the lookout for experienced payroll advisors who can thrive in a challenging and fast paced environment. We undertake a weekly and fortnightly payroll, we operate a shared services payroll for Transdev Wellington and our two Bus Companies (Wellington and Auckland).
- We need our payroll function to be customer focused, with a big focus on ensuring we pay our people accurately and on time each payday. The role is challenging, with varying terms and conditions in a MECA and other collective agreements.

Experience required includes:

- Proven competence in complex payroll terms and conditions
- Aptitude with numbers and systems, with a strong focus on detail
- Strong work ethic, adapting to the varying work flows across the payroll cycle
- Highly effective problem solving abilities;, uses initiative to check anything that doesn’t add up or look right
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
- We need team members who are consultative, friendly and approachable, and who can effectively communicate how payroll legislation has been interpreted.
