**Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity**

This position is responsible for scheduling hearings in the Auckland District Court (jury trials, family, civil and criminal) across a Justice Service area. This includes working closely with Regional Scheduling Advisors, court staff and managers and Executive Judges to prioritise cases and consider national priorities to ensure full utilisation of available hearing time and contribute to caseflow management. The position has responsibility for ensuring a consistent approach to scheduling these cases.

To be successful in the role you will need to be:

- **Detail orientated and observant** - the court has many different processes and case information needs to be accurate
- **Self-aware** -our participants are unique, and you will be confident working, both individually and as a team, across a range of situations
- **Multi-task** -some of our processes are repetitive, but you'll be able to manage conflicting priorities and move from one task to another quickly
- **Willing to learn** - legislation and processes in the courts is always changing and you will be able to adapt and maintain knowledge capital
- **Resilience **- Ability to identify and manage risk, including early identification of problems and resolve issues calmly when they arise.

**Utu ā-tau/Salary**

Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be between $59,066 - $83,387 based on skills and experience.
