Auckland - City of Sails - combines the hustle and bustle of an urban city with the spectacular natural beauty of our harbours, islands, beaches, mountains and forests.

Located in South Auckland, Middlemore Hospital is the largest tertiary hospital operated by Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand. We serve the diverse and often high needs population of Counties Manukau district, which stretches across Otahuhu to Port Waikato.

The Clinical Pharmacy service is committed to providing excellent patient-centred care and achieving equitable health outcomes through collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation. Our clinical pharmacists have a strong presence and are well-regarded across the organisation. With a talented team of almost 50 clinical pharmacists, we provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient areas spanning across Medicine, Surgery (including National Burns Centre & Spinal Unit), Older People’s Health & Rehabilitation, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Women’s & Children’s Health, Mental Health, Infectious Diseases & Antimicrobial Stewardship, Palliative Care, Complex Pain, Refugee Health and Medicines Information.

**Successful applicants must be**:

- Eligible to work in NZ
- New Zealand registered pharmacist with current APC or eligibility to obtain one
- Able to work flexible hours and participate in our on call, weekend and extended hours rosters
