**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

Te Whatu Ora, Wellington Regional Hospital, Ward 2 Medical, has vacancies for Health Care Assistants (HCA). This is a new 16 bedded ward opening in May to assist with medical capacity and will admit lower acuity medical patients.

**Moū - About you**

This position gives you an exciting new opportunity to bring excellent team building skills into a low acuity medical environment. This will enable you work alongside the Registered Nurse at the bedside to deliver quality care supporting patients as they progress through their hospital stay.

This position suits a person with a can do attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Motivated and flexible self-starter with the ability to work well in a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the proven ability to engage people at all levels
