As an Administrator you will be working within a team of Administrators predominantly providing support across the Intellectual Disability Inpatient Service. This varied and interesting position involves general administration duties as well as more specific tasks associated with the intellectual disability aspect of the service.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The National Intellectual Disability Service holds a number of contracts funded directly by the Ministry of Disabled People. These contracts are part of a framework of interconnected services for people with an Intellectual Disability. One of the contracts we hold is for services for clients that are placed under the Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care & Rehabilitation) Act 2003 (IDCC&R). These services include:

- Regional Intellectual Disability Secure Service (RIDSS)
- National Youth Intellectual Disability Secure Service
- National Individualised Service Units
- Regional Intellectual Disability Consultation Assessment Service (RIDCAS) Moū - About you

You will have high levels of customer service and integrity and be an excellent communicator. Alongside this you will have the ability to work and support team members in a collegial, constructive manner and develop good working relationships within the team. You will have exceptional planning and organising skills, including the ability to maintain performance when under pressure. The ability to prioritise your workload will come naturally, along with being able to anticipate and proactively deal with administrative demands from members of the Service.

**Other skills and experience we are looking for include**:

- Experience with Dictaphone typing
- Able to pick up new processes and systems easily
- Experience with purchase orders and invoicing
- High level of competence with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Professional focus, with a commitment to quality, accuracy and detail
- A high level of judgment, flexibility, self-motivation and responsiveness
- Commitment to personal and professional development
