This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary Team at the Regional Rangatahi inpatient Service. (RRAIS). The Rangatahi Unit is a 12 bedded mental health acute unit, that provides a service for adolescents aged between 13 to 17 years of age who have a serious mental health disorder ( as defined in the DSM 1V ). The young person will be requiring intensive treatment, investigation or observation (24 hours per day) that cannot safely or adequately be provided in a community setting.
The Administrator is responsible for the effective and efficient provision of all administrative services to a high quality. The Administrator ensures administrative support is provided to all health professionals in their operational area and information required by other Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Services (MHAIDS) is timely and accurate. The administrator works closely with the team leader and is integral part of keeping the service running effectively from an administrative perspective. You will fit into a strong team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour, and respect across disciplines.

The Regional Rangatahi Adolescent inpatient Service is a 12 bedded service and provides treatment for young people aged 12 to 18 who require admission to hospital to support their recovery. Whanau are an important element in the work we do, as such we work collaboratively with whanau and young people to build resilience to enable young people and whanau to live their best lives and realise their potential.
The team has bicultural focus and is supported by a Kaumatua and a Kuia, the team uses a Maori health model to guide their practice with emphasis on whanaungatanga, tikanga.
The team is committed to workforce development, continuous learning and service improvement.
Moū - About you
We are looking for an Administrator who can carry out the following duties:

- Administration systems are developed & maintained.
- Ensure client/tangata whaiora files are maintained.
- All information systems are efficiently operated.
- Maintain all legal requirements including MHA paperwork.
- Contributes to the quality processes within the team/service.Skills & Experience we are looking for:

- Proven experience and a track record of success in a similar administrative role.
- Ideally experience working in the health industry and an understanding of clinical governance.
- Well-developed written and oral skills - the ability to communicate ideas in writing and verbally
- Excellent word processing and PC skills with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.E pā ana ki a tatou - About us
