This dynamic role will embrace your strong coordination and facilitation skills with your passion for improving road safety in Porirua.

You will be responsible for:

- attending various meetings regarding road safety across the region
- writing data-informed road safety programmes
- coordinating and facilitating efforts to address road safety problems within Porirua
- bringing an organised and systematic approach to coordinating our road safety
- assisting with gaining various sponsorships for road safety

**All about you**

It would be fabulous if you have a heart for the community and improving road safety as well as knowledge of the local government environment. This is a full-time role, but we would consider reduced hours for the right person.

You’ll need to show us that you:

- have previous experience working in a public education or enforcement role
- can develop positive and resilient working relationships internally and externally
- have a strong ability to influence and negotiate
- have the ability to organise and run meetings, to speak publicly and to present research data
- have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- are naturally collaborative in nature, and will foster meaningful and positive working relationships
- have good analysis and report writing skills
