Your Opportunity

The Property Manager is responsible for Property Management services across TGE New Zealand’s diverse portfolio of property assets and leases, including Freight Terminals, Warehouse Facilities and Office Premises across our national network.

Your variety packed day will look a lot like this:

- Liaise with the Business Units and assist with their property leasing requirements, both short and long term, including negotiating terms and conditions of new leases and lease renewals.
- Ensure Business Units are complying with their lease obligations.
- Recommending levels of leasing fees and marketing budgets.
- Identifying and analysing property risks.
- Complete property management reporting.
- Liaise with Business Units regularly with respect to facilities management and premises maintenance issues.
- Environmental management of all TGE occupied premises in New Zealand and implementation of environmental initiatives.
- Administer BWOF requirements, audits and compliance for all TGE occupied premises in New Zealand.
- Roll out and manage Team Global Express Facilities Management Program.
- Oversee security management of all TGE occupied premises in New Zealand and implementation of any security initiatives.

Your amazing skill set
- 6-8 years’ experience in managing commercial properties, with significant experience at a senior level.
- Up to date market intelligence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills are essential to achieving the optimum outcome in property lease negotiations, renewals, rent reviews and protection of the company’s position in terms and conditions of the lease.
- Commercially savvy, proactive, structured and outcome focussed
- Exceptional people skills
- Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and suppliers.
- Have a positive impact on our working environment and culture.
