We are looking for Assistants to help our mechanics and team. Full Time role -30 hours per week, Pay starts from $29.66 per hour.
- **Assisting with Repairs**: Supporting senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in vehicles or machinery. This may involve tasks such as removing and replacing parts, conducting inspections, and following repair procedures.
- **Routine Maintenance**: Performing basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure vehicles and equipment operate smoothly.
- **Tool and Equipment Maintenance**: Keeping tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized. Assisting in the maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment to ensure they function properly.
- **Parts Management**: Assisting with inventory management by keeping track of parts and supplies, restocking inventory, and ensuring that the necessary parts are available for repairs and maintenance.
- **Troubleshooting**: Assisting in diagnosing mechanical problems by observing symptoms, conducting tests, and gathering relevant information to help identify issues and potential solutions.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines when working with tools and equipment.
- **Documentation**: Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage. Completing paperwork such as work orders, service reports, and inspection logs as required by the employer or regulatory agencies.
- **Customer Service**: Providing courteous and professional service to customers or clients. Answering questions, explaining repair procedures, and addressing concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Learning and Development**: Continuously learning and improving technical skills and knowledge of automotive or machinery systems. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in technology and industry best practices.
- **Driving**: Delivery of Vehicles or pick up vehicles from the clients and different workshops.
- **Assisting in Other Duties**: Supporting other members of the maintenance team as needed, including assisting with tasks outside of typical mechanical duties to contribute to the overall efficiency of the operation.

Suitable person must be available to work on weekends and flexible to work on a seven days a week roster, physically fit as occasional Heavy lifting is involved. Driving license required or able to get the same within 3 months.

Relevant background in motor repair or suitable qualification would be advantageous.
