**The Company**:
Cubic Mission and Performance Solutions (CMPS) as part of Cubic Corporation is a leading provider of realistic combat training systems and specialized support services. CMPS designs and manufactures products, systems and services for military and security forces of the U.S. and allied nations.

Cubic’s NZ office is predominately staffed by engineers, focused on designing and maintaining products to solve our customers training needs.

**The role**:
As a Senior Hardware/Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting validation tests on circuit card assemblies on multiple projects.

**You will be required to**:

- Assess test requirements
- Define test plans and procedures
- Perform the test phase and provide detailed reports
- Write commissioning documents for circuit card assemblies and products

**Who we’re looking for**:

- An experienced Senior Hardware Test Engineer (contractor) willing to come on board and assist our hardware team to work through validation of circuit card assemblies for a number of key projects within Cubic.
- Someone experienced with test methodology on electronic equipment, preferably within a product development area
- Someone with the ability to work independently
- Someone who is good at solving problems

**Required skills**:

- Experience in bringing up Circuit Card Assembly and PCB designing and testing.
- Experience in using test equipment like power supplies, source measurement units, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers
- Experience with assembling, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics systems.

**Desired Skills**:

- Electronics design experience
- Altium CAD
