Te tūnga | The role
This position is located within the Analytics service line of Technology Services, working with Analyst Developers and other engineers, and alongside a Service Assurance Consultant, two Solution Architects, and business users. The successful applicants shall work in unison with Systems Engineers from other service lines to design, develop, and deploy, new capabilities, via user stories and acceptance criteria, whilst ensuring the data integrity of our systems.
Applicants need to have knowledge, at an Enterprise scale, of the following:

- Complex distributed systems
- SAFe Agile principles and practices
- IT operations, in an Always-Up, Always-Available service environment
- Load balancing, networking, and routing
- Patching (automated and manual) and other security mechanisms

**As a member of a Technology Delivery team, you would**:

- Be tertiary qualified in a relevant field OR hold minimum one-year equivalent work experience within a corporate Enterprise environment
- Demonstrate an ability for establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships, and communicating clearly with a diverse audience
- Maintain, optimise, and support, our technical platforms to in-house standards and industry best practices, on time, and to budget
- Negotiate the trade-offs between competing demands, costs, customer experience, downtime, flexibility, scalability, and sustainability
- Exhibit effective management of change, incidents, and other work items, to deliver successful outcomes
- Evaluate and propose the best tools and practices, and commit to developing technical competency and organisational knowledge
- Automated deployment of Cloud APIs, via AWS, Azure, VRA, or similar
- Microsoft Windows (demonstratable skills administrating multiple versions)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar
- Git branching strategies
- Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Ansible
- NGINX, or similar
- PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar

**Experience in one or more of the following is desirable**:

- R-programming language and operating environments
- SAS 9.4, SAS Viya, and/or SAS Enterprise Guide, environments
