**Position Purpose - **Summary**

**Job Purpose**

Assist in all functions associated with the manufacture of hose assemblies or related items, including testing and certification. Conducted both within the workshop and on customer’s sites

**Team Objective**

We - the whole team at Motion are all charged with the vital responsibility of working together to win and keep customers.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manufacture assemblies to the correct standard and within the required timeframe to meet customer requirements.
- Ensuring the company’s reputation as a market leader is promoted through prompt and courteous service and the highest standards of workmanship.
- To undertake training at a suitable level to ensure proficiency in the position and to share knowledge with peers for the betterment of the business.
- Ensure all information is recorded accurately, either manually or on the computer database, within the prescribed timeframe.
- Respond to customer inquiries or complaints within the scope of the position (or refer them through the appropriate channels) and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency in all workshop processes.
- Adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Motor Vehicle, Motion Dress Standards, ISO Quality Systems and IT Systems.
- Lead health & safety by example and demonstrate commitment to the safe working practices prescribed in the HSNZ procedures.
- Maintain workshop equipment to a safe and reliable standard in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
- To ensure workshop presentation is kept to a very high standard.
- Conduct work and training away from the region from time to time as required to fulfil customer and position requirements.
- Endeavour to meet all work schedules and achieve a continuous and productive flow of work.
- Assisting with product failure reports, incident investigations and disciplinary processes where necessary.
- To participate in performance reviews for personal progression and goal setting.
- To present oneself in a clean, tidy, and professional manner.
- Carry out duties as assigned by the manager from time to time to ensure continuous operation of the business.
- To ensure stock picks are checked off and placed onto the correct shelves and attend to transfers as directed.
- To ensure all goods dispatched have documentation and are recorded on QM-DDS or similar.
- To deliver goods to customers or branches and ensure safe driving techniques.
- To assist in filing, checking, and other paperwork as required.
- To attend training courses and complete modular training as made available.
- Pick and pack orders with zero / near zero errors.
- Ensure orders are dispatched using the correct shipping methods.
- Ensure products are packed correctly to prevent damage in transit

**Workplace Health, Safety & Environment**
- Complying with the Code of Conduct and other Policies and Procedures.
- Reporting to work in a fit state and perform task in a safe manner that will keep you and others safe.
- Not operating any equipment, machinery, or vehicles for which you have not received a proper training, or you do not hold appropriate license, certifications, permits (e.g. driver’s license, forklift license, etc.).
- Following all safety instructions and using provided personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy (e.g. desk/office, workbench, workshop area, kitchen, toilet).
- Keeping walk areas, entrances/exits unobstructed.
- Reporting immediately any workplace accidents/incidents, injuries, hazards, near misses to your manager and submitting the online incident report.
- Participating in any training as advised/approved by the Company.
