New Zealand Red Cross couldn’t do their work without their partners and supporters. From small one-off donations to multi-year partnerships and everything in between, every corporate supporter helps them to make a difference.

Corporate partnerships help New Zealand Red Cross to prepare for and respond to emergencies, provide support for their community programmes, widen their communication and volunteer networks, provide strategic insight and strengthen their financial base. New Zealand Red Cross can be there for people in need because of the support of these amazing organisations.

Reporting to and working closely with the Manager, Philanthropic Partnerships, you will help to grow and strengthen New Zealand Red Cross’ business partnerships. Key responsibilities include developing and managing relationships with a portfolio of businesses, creating communications and marketing content, impact reporting, and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.

It’s an exciting time to join the New Zealand Red Cross. They’ve been through a significant period of change as they refocus on their core work, and this position represents the opportunity to contribute to what the organisation might look like in the future, and play a significant role in the management of enduring partnerships.

The preference is for the role to be based in Wellington, although Auckland or Christchurch might be considered. A laptop and mobile phone will be provided.

This position could be for an experienced Senior Advisor or Advisor; please indicate which level you are interested in in your cover letter.

**Person Profile**:

- Experience working in a marketing, communications or fundraising role
- Strong communication skills, in particular written, and ideally experience writing content for varying channels, media, web and social media, and technical copy editing and proofreading
- A track record of success in, and commitment to, building and maintaining exceptional relationships with a range of stakeholders; experience in successfully managing corporate relationships is preferred
- A strong team player
- A self-starter, driven and highly self-motivated
- Ability to plan, manage and prioritise workload and time effectively
- A consultative and open style with a ‘no surprises’ approach
- An eye for detail and an ability to work in a fast paced environment
- An empathy for the humanitarian sector is highly desirable
