Come and join us in our state-of-the-art laboratory based at Mangere To meet the growing needs and demands of the Danone Auckland Laboratory, we have created a new opportunity for the **Laboratory Technical Systems Coordinator **as part of our talented Laboratory team. Your key responsibility is to ensure the implementation and coordination of the technical systems required to maintain the Laboratory Quality Management Systems. You will be a leader within the lab, providing support to the Microbiology, Chemistry, and Sample Reception.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager,** **you will support the laboratory to maintain compliance to ISO 17025, MPI Recognised Laboratory Program and Danone Standards.

In particular, your responsibility will be to
- Assist and implement laboratory training programs in consultation with Lab Manager and Team Leaders
- Coordinate the calibration and maintenance program for laboratory testing equipment
- Ensure accuracy and traceability for all work completed, including documentation and calibration reports
- Support and coordinate laboratory internal audits to meet ISO17025 requirements
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure actions are closed***

This is a role has a variety of topics to coordinate and will provide a great opportunity for a well organised individual to take a step towards a leadership role.

About you

You are a focused and proactive professional with a thorough understanding of laboratory processes and experienced in Quality Systems Management in an ISO17025 accredited lab. You are a great team player and enjoy working with calibration and maintenance programs for laboratory testing equipment. You are passionate about Quality and have demonstrated capability to maintain systems. To be successful you will also have:

- Tertiary qualification in Science or equivalent field
- Knowledge of calibration, traceability as per ISO17025 and IANZ Specific Criteria
- Prior experience being key technical personnel is highly desirable
- Prior training or experience as an internal auditor is preferred
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to train staff
- Sound data analysis skills and LIMS is preferred
- Sound experience in Microsoft Suite especially Excel and /or Power BI
- Ability to work with shifting priorities
