Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Primary Care Liaison (PCL) team on a full time, fixed term basis covering a period of parental leave.
The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse Specialist within PCL is to:
Work in a collaborative manner to build and strengthen partnerships within the primary/secondary interface
Provide specialist level consultation, support and liaison across the secondary mental health and addictions sector, the primary health care sector and non-government organisations (NGOs) to achieve positive mental health outcomes

PCL work across Te Toka Tumai Auckland with kaimahi situated within each of the cities four Adult Community Mental Health Services, providing a multi-disciplinary, recovery focussed service for whai i te ora. You will be part of a dedicated service, supporting excellent clinical care.
You will be working with a well-established management team and senior nursing group. There is also excellent opportunity for support from the wider multi-disciplinary team.
You will impress us with your depth of clinical knowledge, high level of time management and organisational skills and demonstrated ability to work with people from a range of cultural backgrounds.

To be eligible it is Essential you meet the below requirements:
Have a commitment to biculturalism
Have a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
Be a Registered Nurse with a current/valid APC
Hold a diploma in MH Nursing/BA in MH Nursing
Hold a clean, current driver's license
Computer literacy

**In addition, you will have the below desirable skills**:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Community MH Nursing
Provide clinical supervision to staff within MHS
