The Lead Clinician partners with the Clinical Team Leader and Charge Nurse to provide clinical leadership on a day to day basis across the multi professional team.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are seeking a Lead Clinician to take on this important role, working across Mental Health Services for Older People community and inpatient services:
MHSOP Community Team is a specialist community assessment and treatment team for people aged 65 years and over who are experiencing mental illness and/or cognitive change. This team is based at Greenlane.
Fraser McDonald Unit (FMU) is a 15 bed acute in-patient unit for Mental Health Services for Older People based on the Auckland City Hospital site.
The MHSOP team also includes a Psychogeriatrician and Nurse Specialist who provide a liaison and consultation service to the older people's health wards at Auckland City Hospital.
The Lead Clinician partners with the Clinical Team Leader and Charge Nurse to provide clinical leadership on a day to day basis across the multi professional team. You will also work clinically within the service.

You must be qualified in a relevant field of clinical practice, registered in New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
