Global Institutional Banking Coverage (“GIBC”) leads banking relationship management and the provision of capital solutions, trade finance, risk management, and transaction banking to CBA’s corporate and institutional clients. The team proactively develops and manages client relationships, and advises, structures and executes product solutions tailored to the needs of clients.

Corporate Client Coverage (“CCC”) sits within GIBC and incorporates our Efficient Supply Chains and Future Cities & Networks client ecosystems. The CCC team covers Australasia’s largest corporate businesses and investors in the Real Estate, Infrastructure, Media, Technology, Education, Health, Industrials, Transport and Consumer sectors.

CCC is supported by colleagues across various teams, including Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Structured Asset Finance, Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets, and Loan Markets & Syndication.

**Your impact and contribution**:
As a Senior Associate, your key responsibilities include:

- Working as part of deal teams in the end-to-end management of the debt and product financing process, including performing credit analysis, financial modelling, pricing modelling, and drafting credit memos.
- Servicing clients’ needs including portfolio management responsibilities and dealing with day-to-day internal and external enquiries.
- Completing credit reviews for new and in-life transactions and liaising with product partners and the Credit Risk team as required.
- Actively contributing to client relationship development through attendance of external meetings, industry events, and client site visits as and when required.
- Promoting a positive team culture and supporting a safe and diverse workplace for all team members, customers and visitors.
- Adhering to CBA’s Code of Conduct, which sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

**We’re interested in hearing from people who have**:

- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation/influencing skills, and an ability to build a strong rapport with clients and work colleagues.
- Knowledge of corporate fundamentals alongside strongly developed research skills and financial analysis capabilities, with an ability to grasp complex structured transactions.
- An understanding of risk management and credit risk, and a good grasp of accounting principles and business cash flow.
- Strong oral and written skills with an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way.
- Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- A client-centred mindset.
- Familiarity with working with bank systems, or similar customer relationship management systems and risk engines.
