**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

You will work in a team which assists Westpac’s corporate and institutional customers in utilising a range of loan products. You will work with Westpac’s loan and corporate and institutional relationship teams to manage the debt requirements of a wide range of customers.

This will include:

- Working with borrowers where Westpac is the Facility Agent and Security Trustee to manage agency matters including compliance reporting, security registers, syndicate meetings, consent requests and general enquiries
- Working with lenders and market participants to distribute facility information and manage enquiries
- Developing and maintaining relationships with a range of corporate and institutional companies and NZ central and local government agencies utilising loan products
- Assisting on the origination, structuring and execution of underwritten and syndicated loan transactions
- Assisting and managing bank syndicates as facility agent
- Assisting on thought leadership across all corporate and institutional loan products
- Keeping Westpac’s key corporate and institutional clients abreast of changes in the loan market

While you will have product coverage responsibilities across a range of clients, you will also be required to build market relationships with corporate finance and debt advisors, banks, non-bank lenders, legal firms and other market participants.

You must have an understanding of all forms of corporate debt. While debt capital markets, securitisation, and asset finance products are managed through other specialist teams, you should have an interest in understanding those products to assist with cross sell opportunities.

As a member of the Loan Product team, you are expected to show excellence in everything you do. Essential skills include a knowledge of the banking & finance industry, strong communication (both written and verbal), team work and organisational skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of customers/investors, the ability to manage time effectively, collaboration, and negotiation skills.

You will need to be a self-motivated team player, possessing strong initiative, drive and customer service values with at least 3 years banking experience in a front office role.
