Based in Picton or Wellington, this career-defining project will be delivering safe, seamless, and spectacular ferry rides connecting both the North and South Island together. **The role**:
As our Sustainability Advisor, you will champion the delivery of sustainable outcomes throughout the project and drive the achievement of the projects Infrastructure Sustainability Rating. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Championing key sustainability initiatives, targets and responsibilities, ensuring that all requirements are met and supporting project stakeholders to comply with them
- Promoting and advising on Infrastructure Sustainability requirements, targets and best practice, providing coaching, guidance and support to the Project team to help achieve their targets and improve their competency in the areas of sustainability
- Manage and monitor the collection and interpretation of Project sustainability data, reporting regularly on progress, identifying risks to the ISC certification programme
- Deliver sustainability training programs to upskill operational teams in sustainability requirements and capabilities

You'll be a key Sustainability champion for the project and your drive and passion will be critical to fostering best practice in their area within the team.

**To be successful in this role**:

- 2+ years' experience in environmental or sustainability fields is required.
- Accreditation as an Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP) would be highly regarded but is not essential.
- A degree qualification in sustainability, environmental, or engineering related field would be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Practical experience with construction and/or large scale projects is desirable.
