**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

Your role will be to provide case management from an Occupational Therapist perspective as part of our community mental health team. We are a busy urban community mental health team covering the south quadrant of Christchurch. Our multidisciplinary team mixes the skills and talents of occupational therapists, Pukenga Atawhais, nurses, psychiatrists, social workers and psychologists. We focus our care on those in most need, those with serious and enduring mental illness who cannot be cared for in primary care or by NGOs. We are keen to use all the different skills our multidisciplinary team brings to provide the best care we can for our clients.

**Ko wai koe | About You**

**You will have interest in adult community psychiatry and experience working in a multidisciplinary team in a community mental health team. You will have a strong professional grounding in Occupational Therapy but an interest in working with other disciplines in a multidisciplinary team.**

Your skills will include:.
- A strong grounding in Occupational Therapy
- Ability to work with colleagues in different disciplines. Registration as an Occupational Therapist and have an annual practicing certificate

- We have 1FTE available to fill split as 0.5FTE permanent and 0.5FTE fixed term until January 2025._
