**Job Title**: Senior Digital Account Manager (Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months)
**Reports to**: Head of Digital
Role overview
As a Senior Digital Account Manager your main responsibilities are to plan, manage and execute digital media campaigns, from start through to completion.
Working closely with the Head of Digital, your role is to develop channel strategies that achieve client business objectives. In addition, to the upfront planning you will also work with the Head of Digital and client leads to maintain quality control of the digital media campaigns and always on activity, continually evaluating and improving performance against client goals post live date.
You are responsible for junior to mid-level client relationships ensuring everything is running smoothly and that all questions are answered in a timely manner, in accordance with the Hearts & Science client service expectations.
As well as a solid digital understanding of media the Senior Digital Account Manager is expected to have a working knowledge of the digital media arena and support the Head of Digital and Performance team in delivering integrated campaigns.
Beyond the internal Hearts & Science team, your will work seamlessly with various OMG specialist teams and media owners and other external agency partners.
Key areas of responsibilities
1. Client Management
- Understand the business dynamics of the categories in which your clients operate; actively seek information and insight and use this information to generate proactive initiatives where possible.
- Support the senior client management team (namely the Client Lead) to help build the relationship amongst junior to mid-level clients including presenting channel plans and answer any adhoc requests that come through confidently.
- For some smaller clients or particular campaigns within larger clients, you will be responsible for leading client relationships having the full support of the senior leadership team (and the above client lead) when you need it.
2. Stakeholder Management (Internal / External)
- Regularly meet with media owners to ensure the knowledge base of the media marketplace, terminology and trends are constantly evolving
- Build and develop key relationships through active networking with internal and external stakeholders (OMG representative/online & offline media owners, throughout the implementation planning process
- Build strong relationship within the Hearts & Science team ensuring you are fully connected across all disciplines.
- Lead/support in internal initiatives and communicate these to internal and external bodies that improve the quality of the culture and output at H&S (i.e Horizon Squad initiatives)
3. Campaign Management
- Assist with the development of the comms and channel planning
- Assist with the management of the implementation of plans throughout their delivery
- Effectively translate the media strategy / property into detailed plans
- Report on campaigns delivery and provide ongoing insights that improve campaign performance
