Pet Food Factory Workers

Our client manufactures and exports premium pet food worldwide in their factory. They are a busy operation and due to expansion are looking for additional staff to start in the new year.

**About the roles**:
We are looking for staff to work in the Extrusion team, Detray/Slicing team, and Packing Team. You will be assisting with the production of making, cutting up and packing baked pet food so must be comfortable dealing with this product. Experience in food production preferred but not essential.

**Packing Team**: Running the packing machines, putting products into pouches and boxes, quality control products, cleaning machinery, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Detray/Slicing**:De-traying cooked pet food products, running slicing machines, bulk packing as per customer requirements, clean equipment and sweep floors, label and date products, adhering to health and safety regulations, and cover process and packing areas if required.

**Extrusion**:Product batching and inspecting the quality, completing daily e-certs, mincing batched product, extruding batched product, full clean of work area and machines after use, adhere to health and safety regulations, correctly storing frozen meat, factory cover in other processing areas, and forklift duties if required and correct licence is held.

**Days and Hours**:
Monday-Saturday operation however you will get Sunday and 1 additional day off each week. Work hours will be between 6:30am-4pm.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in physically demanding roles.
- Comfortable with repetitive movements and standing for extended periods of time.
- Own reliable transport.
