We are looking for a Sand Blaster & Painter to join our company.
What’s on offer:
- Weekly pay
- Guaranteed 30 hours per week, overtime paid at your hourly rate
- Pay rate: $29.66-$32
What will you do:
- Sandblasting, surface prepping and general warehousing
- Ensure that the sandblaster is been operated in a safe manner
- Preparing vehicle for finishing stages (sanding down, primer, etc)
- Smoothing out imperfections on vehicle panels
- Using both manual sanding and power sanders on surfaces
- Covering unpainted areas with masking tape and paper
- Protecting vehicles from rust with specific chemicals
- Fixing small paint imperfections and adding polish to vehicles
- Ensure that all compliance and quality paperwork related to the sandblasting function is completed in a timely manner
What do you need:
- High attention to detail
- Reliability and having the right work ethic
- Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field would be advantageous however we are willing to train and develop someone willing to learn
- Work autonomously and take pride in delivering high-quality work
- Be flexible with hours and availability to work on weekends and public holidays
