The Investment Strategist role is critical to making this happen by providing research and support for the investment strategy team, responsible for the management of ANZ’s multi-asset funds and model portfolios.

**You will have the opportunity to**:
Enhance and evolve models and processes to support superior Strategic (SAA) and Tactical (TAA) asset allocations
Determine appropriate strategic benchmarks for multi asset portfolios and ranges
Continuously improve modelling and analysis of the medium term behavioural, economic and valuation drivers of return used in the TAA process
Report to the Head of Asset Allocation, working within the Investment Strategy Team which also covers External manager selection, Portfolio trading and implementation, and Responsible Investment

**Role Type**: Permanent

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong analytical skills and quantitative techniques
Sound understanding of, and previous experience in assessment management/allocation preferred, but not essential
Exceptional communication and writing skills

**Modelling skills**: Strong Excel, Visual Basic and statistical analysis knowledge required
Knowledge of Python and Matlab preferred
Post Graduate Qualification highly regarded, CFA preferred
