Our client is on the lookout for a Payroll & HR Expert to join our outstanding team and provide support to our finance and HR departments. This brand new role presents an opportunity to be a catalyst for change and be a part of a values-driven, mission-driven organisation. With around 100 team members on the payroll, you will be a key player in guaranteeing accurate and prompt payroll processing, addressing staff payroll and HR administration questions, managing HR documentation creation and completion, maintaining employee files, and taking a proactive approach to outstanding payroll and HR tasks.

**Key Duties**:

- Ensure precise payroll processing using the relevant payroll system
- Address staff payroll and HR administration inquiries
- Oversee HR documentation creation and completion
- Keep employee files up to date in the HR system
- Take a proactive approach to outstanding payroll and HR documentation

**About you**:

- In-depth understanding and experience with NZ Payroll
- General HR knowledge and experience
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks
