SUMMARY
The position of the Programme Evaluator is to work in with the RTO and PTE teams to ensure engaging and effective training programmes are developed and delivered that meet client competency requirements, industry standards and deliver customer delight. This includes focus on process optimisation, driving efficiency and ensuring compliance with the quality management system and to ensure Avetta maintains registration with NZQA, ASQA and complies with other standard setting bodies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all statutory and compliance requirements are met for retaining registration and accreditation with ASQA and NZQA and other VET sector governing bodies.
- Management of the PTE and RTO Quality Management Systems (QMS) and document control of the policies and procedures within the system.
- Lead Avetta successfully through ASQA audits to maintain registration and NZQA EER reviews to ensure Category 1 status is maintained with highly confident ratings.
- Create an annual internal audit plan, undertake audits and report on QMS compliance audits.
- Project manage resource development plans including working alongside the trainers to maintain and develop high-quality training and assessment resources. This includes planning and project managing all development in line with associated procedures.
- Evaluate trainer delivery and ensure training is engaging, of a high standard and safety practices are observed.
- Perform and manage internal moderation and coordinate external moderation processes.
- Develop trainee pathways in conjunction with Trainee Coordinators, monitor and report on trainee progression and track trainee career progression after becoming qualified (where possible).
- Investigate, access and process industry training funds for trainee programmes and report on funding as required.
- Coordinate and submit nominations for industry awards that celebrate the achievements of trainees who are on Avetta training programmes.
- Liaise with relevant organisations, industry, and professional bodies to keep up to date with industry best practice, technology, rules, and standards.
- Monitor and identify existing and future customer and industry needs for training and assessment to inform the training businesses on opportunities.
- Ensure engaging online programmes are developed using internal and external resources, to meet industry and client requirements. This includes developing a library of resources suitable for global use.
- Work with teams to identify process and workflow efficiencies and trial and implement improvements to operational work procedures.
- Promote continuous improvement within teams and maintain the CII register, monitor progress on CII actions, following up with relevant people to ensure actions are completed on time.
- Provide input to marketing content including positive feedback, photos, wins and success stories.
- Maintain a good understanding of the global organisation's software products and how online learning interacts with other products.
- Represent Avetta on industry advisory groups and participate in reviews of standards and qualifications.
- Complete research, analysis and provide client or management reporting as required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Tidy and professional standard of dress and PPE is required for office and site visits.
- Regular travel within NZ and Australia is required.
