**What is the job?**
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the client’s quality systems management.
- Complete and verify daily, weekly, and monthly quality control testing, inspections, and procedures.
- Meeting all Production, Quality and Health and Safety criteria.
- Revise and retain the Quality Control record logs and spreadsheets of necessary data.
- Comply with established quality, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
- Follow up on inspections and checks and trace backs relating to systems and compliance.
- Drive continuous process improvement across the organisation.
- Address production and quality anomalies, promptly.
**What will be required from you**:
- You will be responsible for Quality Control for the extrusion line.
- You come from a mechanical production environment.
- You take pride and ownership in your work.
- You deliver plan requirements on time and in full and to top standards.
- Strong business acumen.
- Can talk to people from all levels.
- You will enjoy problem solving and a strong focus on quality control.
- Have a strong Health and Safety experience.
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile.
- Ability to compute quickly and accurately.
- Attention to detail and excellent accuracy with numbers and procedures.
- You can work in New Zealand
