**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The primary focus of this role is to lead and manage a team of locally based Internal Communication Advisors, ensuring effective and innovative internal communications tailored to local needs.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**

Multiple years of experience in communication roles (in the range of 5 years) and in managing communications and engagement teams.

Has leadership level experience and responsibility for managing people, budgets, forecasting, and cost management.

Understands the public sector.

Demonstrates strong relationship building, interpersonal, collaborative, and customer-focused skills and experience, and success in the presentation of materials and ideas to achieve cut through and impact of work developed for an organisation.
