We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

This is a casual position (on and as when required basis with no guaranteed hours of work) based at the Auckland City Hospital (Grafton Location) reporting to the Temporary Staffing Bureau Manager.

As a casual administrator, you may be in the position as a Ward Clerk, Receptionist, Scheduler or a Coordinator working in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure patients' journeys through the hospital are as smooth as possible.

Your key responsibilities:

- Provide administration and clerical support to services such as Patient Administration Services, Reception, Temporary Staffing Bureau and other wards within the hospital
- Display a high degree of professionalism resulting in excellent customer service at all times
- Provide correct information and direction to all customers as required

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Strong background in customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in administration and office management - ideally in healthcare
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality results
