Role Purpose:
As the Transport Engineering Manager, you will report directly to the head of transport and lead a dynamic team responsible for resolving technical challenges related to the transport network, driving improvements in safety and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading a team of engineers to deliver professional engineering services for a safe and efficient multi-modal transport network.
- Developing and implementing minor transport infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with council policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to provide engineering input and advice for transport projects.
- Identifying and prioritizing capital works aligned with the strategic direction and best practices.
- Ensuring that engineering projects enhance the efficiency and safety of the transport system.
- Engaging with Waka Kotahi, Greater Wellington Regional Council, and other partners to meet investment requirements and standards.
