Mō te tūranga | About the role
The telecommunications team is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and enforcement of the Telecommunications Act 2001, which regulates the supply of certain telecommunications services. The purpose of this regulation is to promote competition in telecommunications markets for the long-term benefit of consumers in New Zealand.
We are looking for an Assistant Investigator to join our Telecommunications Regulatory Rules and Compliance Team. This is a permanent role based in our either Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.
The Assistant Investigator's responsibilities include undertaking analysis which supports the wider compliance program, and acting as the lead on projects.
