**Job Description**:

- Be a Business Partner with a collaborative approach to NZ business-centric sourcing and target savings objectives and opportunities
- Participates in contract negotiations with vendors and landlords: Negotiates new contracts and contract renewals, discusses pricing, and monitors all aspects of the terms of contracts or property deeds.
- Prepares procurement documentation for RFP, vendor management surveys, including tender documents and supplier contracts.
- Reports on Supplier performance and remediate any reported vendors supply or service failures
- Accountable for Contracts Management Systems including Procurement and Property registers
- Responsible for delivery of Procurement Training when required
- Analyses the supply needs of the various business lines, forecast and ensure supply requirements are met
- Tracks and reports on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant University diploma, Accredited Assocation eg CICM, CIPS or degree essential
- Strong functional understanding of sourcing responsibilities (min. five years major role experience) and be sourcing-goal driven.
- Knowledge of common ERP processes and particularly e-procurement requisitioning is desirable
- Previous experience in complex services -business operations with multiple lines of business
- Preferably procurement experience related to the following categories:

- Industrial Supplies
- Capital Infrastructure
- Travel associated Services
- Excellent project management & time management skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create a collaborative approach and identify opportunities
- Comfortable in multi-cultural environments, Asia pacific timelines and MS teams calls
- Legal course training or work experience in a legal environment is ideal
