We are currently looking for a Paving Operator to join our team in Christchurch.

As a Paving Operative, you will
- Operate and maintain paving machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation and laying of asphalt for various projects.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines.

**Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua**

You will bring with you experience in a supervisory role within the construction or related industry. You’ll easily be able to deal with unexpected events and provide direction to your team. You’ll couple this with:

- A Class 2 drivers licence with a WTR endorsement is essential
- Minimum 5 years experience within the Asphalt industry
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected events whilst provide direction
- A flexible work approach, as no two days are the same
- Organised and systematic approach to your working environment
- Effective communication skills, you’ll be able to easily chat with your crew and engage with clients and senior managers
